I'm Romain Daguet, a product engineer who designs and builds. Currently at Nucleus Genomics in New York.
Over the past 10 years, I led design for a viral campaign in SoHo, founded a web design studio and shipped 20+ websites, worked on marketing for an indie music label, and even opened a pop-up restaurant in Paris.
Nucleus Genomics
Nucleus is clinical-grade DNA technology for family planning, backed by Peter Thiel and Alexis Ohanian. I'm in charge of the product frontend, the marketing site, and print assets like brochures or marketing campaigns when needed. The kind of role where I found myself designing a subway banner in the morning and debugging a React component in the afternoon.
Last November, I led design for Nucleus' most viral marketing campaign: Have Your Best Baby. We took over the entire Broadway-Lafayette subway station, placed ads across 1,000 subway cars, and covered SoHo with guerrilla street marketing. The campaign generated 12M+ in press readership, 20M+ social impressions, and drove a 1,700% increase in product demand.
Pecorino Studio
A solo design and development studio I founded on the back of three years in the Paris music scene. 25+ projects — e-commerce, landing pages, AR filters — for clients including Cercle, Étienne de Crécy, Bon Entendeur, Cloé Bailly.
Earlier work
Mojo Sandwich
Mojo Sandwich is a pop-up restaurant a friend and I opened as a side project during summer 2024. I worked on the entire brand identity, both print and web.
microqlima
Marketing and promotion for the Paris-based independent music label microqlima. I managed the live broadcasts of L'Impératrice's worldwide virtual tour in 10 different countries during COVID.
Moop
Two engineering school friends and I built a startup incubated at the IoT Valley ecosystem. We prototyped a wristband to guide people with vibrations. We then pivoted to a B2B ticketing SaaS for facility managers called MerciYanis before I moved to Paris.
